When selecting products and colours for your new kitchen, bathroom, office/study, wardrobe or home entertainment area it can appear to be very confusing. With an enormous range of brands, colours and products available today it can be difficult to make a decision.

To assist with your project we have put together some helpful hints…

WHERE TO BEGIN?
Depending on the location in the home in which your project is situated will determine how you approach your colour selection and the type of material that should be used. 

• If you are renovating you should try to match colours and products to existing elements in the home. 
• If you are building a world of colour is at your fingertips.

Having a look through display homes, magazines, showrooms and searching the internet may inspire your selection and assist with you final decision on colour and perhaps give you the courage to use a combination of colours.

It is often best to choose tiles and or paint first. However, before you actually proceed with your tiling and painting it is best to choose your cabinetry colour and finish. This way you can swap and change colours around until you are completely satisfied before tiles are laid and/or paint purchased etc

FINDING INSPIRATIONAL COLOURS
Questions to ask yourself…

• What colours, textures and objects do I already have in my home that will remain after the ‘new project’ is completed?
• What colours and finishes have I seen that have captured my interest?
• What colours and styles am I drawn to?

Take note of what is around you… colours, textures, styles, tones & finishes as these individually or combined can stimulate a variety of emotions that you may want to capture and create further in your home.

VISUALISE THE FINISHED PRODUCT
When our caninet-makers come to visit you in your home we will assist you with our knowledge of products that can be used for your individual project.
You will have the opportunity to see an array of design ideas & products as well as touch and feel samples of the products you have chosen to assist with your decision making.
Once we have established your needs, concepts and taste we will provide you with a detailed Quotation & 3D Plans detailing your project specifications, colour/finish choices and hardware selections. Additionally you will receive any detailed brochures of our suppliers products and any relevant samples as required.

WHAT NEXT
At this point you have either just started or will be nearing the end of your interior project selections.
If you have just started then you will need to continue to select the rest of the products to complete the project, like floor coverings, paints, tiles & appliances etc.
If you have reached the final stage of your project selections be 100% sure you are happy with your decisions before signing any final approval.

Remeber you can always change your mind on any aspect of your project BEFORE your final approval is signed and/or deposit is paid.
